I was graduated as a computer and automatic control engineer from Ain Shams University in Egypt in 1990. I received my M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Ain Shams University in Egypt in 1994. Then, I obtained the DEA diploma in Informatics from the National Institue of Polytechnics in Grenoble (INPG) in France on 1995. On 1999, I obtained my Ph.D. from Grenoble I university in France. I have experience in both academia and industry as I worked as an Assistant Professor in computer engineering in a number of universities and also worked as an engineering manager and consultant in a multinational industrial body. I'm an IEEE member and is currently working as an assistant professor in the College of Engineering at Qatar University.
 

My research interests include synchronization in multimedia systems, distributed systems application in multimedia, steganography and its application in multimedia for information security.
